However, it may not always be the case. I have seen the "Registering" message displayed when the phone had the ITL/CTL file from another CUCM (CUCM v8.0(1) with Cisco IP Phone 7961, if I remember correctly). Maybe it was a bug, but I just wanted to point out the deletion of the ITL/CTL file from the IP phone in my post. Thanks for your input.
